This pioneering analysis measures immigrant integration and progress across 10 California regions and shows where integration can be improved. Given that nearly half of California's children have at least one immigrant parent, successful immigrant integration is necessary not only for immigrant families and their communities but also for the society at large.

With remarkable range in data and geography, "California Immigrant Integration Scorecard" looks at 28 indicators including economic mobility, civic participation and the receiving society's openness to highlight promising regional and statewide strategies for improving immigrant integration.

The report found, among other things, that Santa Clara shows the most progress towards integration while Fresno has shown the least.
